Morgan Szymanski was born in Mexico City in 1979 and studied at the Royal College of Music and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He was the first guitarist to be awarded a Junior Fellowship at the RCM. A top prize-winner at international competitions, Morgan has toured throughout the world with a repertoire that ranges from classical, Spanish and Latin American music to the 21st century.
His programme for Beaminster includes works by the popular Spanish composers, Albeniz and Tarrega, tango music by the Argentinian composer, Piazzolla and 18th century music by Italian composer, Guiliani. Morgan will also introduce the evocative music of Paraguayan composer, Barrios Mangore - "the Paganini of the Jungles of Paraguay"!
