Madalina Rusu

Piano Recital, 5th July, St Mary's Church

Madalina needs very little introduction to most of you - she is one of Beaminster's favourite musicians. Born in Romania, her early piano education was at the Music High School in Constanta and later at the University of Music in Bucharest.

Since 2004, Madalina has been studying the piano with Professor Joan Havill at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and she graduates this summer. The Beaminster Festival will be one of her first professional engagement and she will play a programme which will include works by Bach, Bartok and Rachmaninov.
