Pauline and I are delighted to be hosting the Third President's Evening, when we are joined by our fellow sponsors at a special early evening Reception before taking our places for a memorable evening of superlative music played by the finest musicians.

This year we are delighted to welcome The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields with soloist, Andrew Marriner. 2008 marks the Academy's 50th Anniversary, having been formed in 1958 under the leadership of Sir Neville Marriner, a Patron of this Festival.

The Academy is, without question, the most recorded chamber orchestra in the world and its glittering and distinguished reputation is global. This evening's programme include's Mozart's emotive clarinet concerto and the Greig Holberg Suite.
